Texas Peaches

Why Texas Peaches?

Sarah picking her first peach

Because there is nothing like a fresh tree ripened peach from Texas!  We grow our peaches for quality of taste.  We do not irrigate our orchard which means less peaches sometimes, but causes the sugar content in our peaches to be much stronger.  This means sweeter, fuller flavored peaches.  We guarantee you will love our peaches!

Don't forget to look at our pictures page to see pictures of delicious Texas peaches.

Pricing

We Pick

$30 per 1/2 bushel and $60 for a bushel.

You Pick

$30 per 1/2 bushel,  and $60 for a bushel. If you pick your own, you can mound your box up and eat all you like in the orchard. =) We provide boxes to pick in.

What's A Bushel?

We have had lots of people ask, "What is a bushel?" and " How big is 1/2 a bushel?"

A 1/2 bushel is about the size of one tomato box. A full bushel is about 2 tomato boxes.  It is roughly  40 lbs of peaches.

Varieties

We have Red Globe, Dixieland, Loring, Redskin, Rustin Red, and Bounty peaches in our orchard.  These varieties ripen at different times throughout the month of July.  All our peaches are sweet and juicy.  We grow them for taste, not shipping so they all have a full, lip-smacking good flavor.

All our peaches are freestone, which means that the seed will separate from the fruit easily. This is esp. good for ease of handling peaches to be frozen or canned, or for making it easy to cut them up to snack on.
